Does Nice Juicery have a retail location?
Yes! Nice Juicery is located at 203 6th Ave E in Alexandria, MN.
What is cold pressed juice?
The cold-pressed method of juice extraction allows for minimal mixing of air with the juices, which results in very slow oxidation or decomposition. Our juice press gently uses thousands of pounds of pressure to completely extract the natural fruit sugars, vitamins, trace minerals, enzymes, and other vital elements. This method allows juice to be bottled without any preservatives and still maintain a 5 day shelf life. Most household juicers (called centrifugal juicers) use a faster processing method, but are overall less efficient. The blade inside a centrifugal juicer spins at a high speed and generates heat. This heat oxidizes and separates nutrients naturally found in the whole fruits and vegetables. And quite frankly, we think cold pressed juice tastes better!
Is Nice Juice pasteurized?
Pasteurized juice is heated to a high temperature for a short time before it is sold. Pasteurization prolongs the shelf life of the juice. Most of the juice you see at your grocery store has been pasteurized. Unfortunately, pasteurization destroys the vital living components of the fruit and vegetables. Nice Juice is always unheated and untreated, providing you with the nutrients your body loves.
Does Nice Juicery use HPP?
HPP stands for High Pressure Processing (or High Pressure Pascalization). Put simply, HPP is a preservation technique that does not subject the juice to any heat but instead uses pressure to extend shelf life. Similar to pasteurization, HPP extends the shelf life of raw juice well beyond five days. Nice Juicery does not use HPP and currently remains untreated in any way.
Are your juices 100% organic?
Not at the moment. Nice Juicery strives to produce delicious, healthy and affordable juices. Using 100% organic produce drives the cost of juice up, but does not have the same effect on nutritional benefits. Nice Juicery supports farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations, and uses organic produce whenever economically feasible.
Are your juices made with local produce?
Much like organic produce, Nice Juicery uses local produce when available and economically feasible to ensure an affordable price.
My juice has separated. Is this normal?
Absolutely! Separation is natural and definitely normal. Just give it a shake and enjoy by its consume-by date.
